Internal Self-Reiki Visualization

Something I love about my chosen work, is that it gives me inspiration to experiment with Reiki and find new and different ways of using to it for myself and my audience.  I have been focusing on self-care recently and decided to ask Spirit to guide me through a self-Reiki practice that I can share with you today.  The Internal Self-Reiki Visualization below is the result.

  1. Find a comfortable position in which you can fully relax.

  2. Place your hand on your body in any position in which they can lay relaxed, with little effort from you.

  3. Take a few deep breaths to help your mind and body relax.

  4. Set your intention to channel healing for your highest good.

  5. Close your eyes and begin to visualize your inner body.  You can find illustrations of the internal anatomy on MedicineBTG.com if you would like to review them for inspiration before beginning this self-healing session.

  6. Focus on channeling Reiki to your internal organs with your mind.  Visualize each organ one at a time and focus Reiki there until you feel intuitively it is time to move on. 

  7. Take note of any impressions or images that you may get during the session but try not to focus on them or analyze them at this time, just notice them for now and analyze them later, after the session has ended.

  8. When you have focused Reiki throughout your entire internal body, give thanks for Reiki and the healing you have received to close the session.

  9. Rest until you feel ready to resume your normal activities.  Remember to ground and drink plenty of cold water after the session.

I invite you to try this self-Reiki method and see how it works for you.  I found it to be as effective as a traditional, hands-on self-Reiki session.  I did find that I became rather sleepy and think I will use this method primarily at bedtime.
