The Law of Attraction is where I am putting most of my focus this year. I have been using the Law of Attraction in a light, experimental way for the last several years with wonderful results. This year, I plan to take my manifesting practice to a new level. I am going to spend the year researching the Law of Attraction and fine tuning my personal practice. (Next year, I will be putting all of my research and experience into a book to share with you.)
There are many different spiritual teachers guiding others in the use of the Law of Attraction and almost as many different techniques to use it. Advice on how to manifest the life you want can vary from simple affirmation practices to complicated rituals. As with all practices, I believe it is best to gather information from many sources, experiment, practice, and find out what works best for you. No single technique is going to work for everyone, and you are the ultimate authority of what is the best practice for you. However, I have found a few basic principles of manifesting that remain largely unchanged from one teacher to another.
1. Be clear about what you want. You can’t attract what you want if you don’t know what that is.
2. Focus on what you want and not the absence or lack of it. You can tell which you are focusing by how you feel. If you feel good, you are focusing on what you want. If you feel bad, you are focusing more on what you do not want.
3. Have faith. You must believe that what you want is coming to you. Whether you believe it is or is not, you will be right.
These 3 principles show up in every teaching about manifesting I have found. The wording may vary, but the idea is steadily present. Whatever else you choose to incorporate into your manifesting practices, be sure to remain clear about what you want, focus on having it, and have faith it will come to you.
